I’m sorry to report that Chek & The Family have parted ways. Chek is pursuing a solo project, so the Family will be starting on their own project. Right now we are laying down demo tracks in the studio. Rather than decide what direction we will take, we will let the music guide us. Whatever comes out of it will be our new sound. We were trying to find a new name as well, but we have decided to remain nameless for the time being. So The Family embarks on a new journey……
Chek & The Family has a show this Friday at The Norva (Norfolk Virginia) with JPharaoh & The Manhattan Project, REGIME, Brandon Jarod, Streetz On Fire, The Fastermores, and DJ Delinger. Tickets are $10. I still have some left so let me know if you need one.
